Goodbye Summer – Hello Fall Tour

August 19, 2012 / By Matt

And yet another Summer draws to a close. True, this one was hot, sticky, unbearably humid, and often smelly (I spent more time in the city than out of it), but I will still sort of miss it. But not too much. I am more of a Fall type guy anyway.

At Baked, we are really looking forward to Fall-crisp, cool, leaf-changing, pumpkin spice-scented, hoodie-wearing Fall. It is our favorite time of year (I can only assume all bakers are crazy for Fall), and this one, in particular, is shaping up to be extra special. We have a brand new cookbook, Baked Elements, coming out (more about this book in a forthcoming post) and we have an amazing multi-city tour planned in support of it. We are probably coming to a city near you and we can’t wait to meet you.

We really enjoy touring. It gives us both a chance to chat with faraway fans and friends, and eat our way through bakeries across the United States.

Our Fall tour is broken up into two parts.  Part One is presented by our partner, Williams-Sonoma, and you should really come to one of these events, because A) we will be there and we want to meet you and B) because we have FREE stuff with us. And not just your regular free stuff – we have incredibly cool and expensive door prizes at each stop along the Williams-Sonoma tour…like Le Creuset 5 1/2 quart Dutch Oven in Ocean, Edgeware Adjustable Manual Knife Sharpener, Edgeware Yellow Better Zester and a Baked Loaf Pan! FOLKS…one more time FREE STUFF! Even if you don’t want to see us, it might make sense to at least show up and pretend (just saying) because you might walk home with something FREE. Snacks, Signings, and Demos at every event as well.

All of our Williams-Sonoma Tour Dates are below. We will detail Part Two of our tour in another post in the very near future.
